Terms and Conditions:

Payment:

  1. No cake order is secure or confirmed without a 50% deposit of the total invoiced amount.

  2. Payment is only accepted via direct deposit or via the online store for pre-designed cakes

  3. Quotes are valid for 2 weeks. If in two weeks you have not notified Cakes By Jack of your decision, your quote will expire.

Cancelations:

  1. Any cancellations made prior to a 50% deposit will not incur a fee.

  2. All cancellations made after the 50% deposit and 60 days before your event will not receive a refund for the deposit.

  3. All cancellations made after the 50% deposit are subject to a $100 administration fee

  4. All cancellations made with less than 7 days notice will forfeit the total cost of the cake.

  5. All Postponements must be made at least 3 weeks in advance. A postponement will only be made if the 50% deposit has been received. If the postponement cannot go ahead, the deposit will not be refunded. Postponements are valid for 1 year following the postponement date. If, due to unavailability we cannot accept your postponement date, the cancellation will be subject to our ordinary terms and conditions.

  6. In the event that the business must cancel an order, you will be refunded your payment amount.

  7. Any cancellations that must be made due to an online order being placed with insufficient notice (Less than 2 weeks) will be charged a $25 admin fee.

Refunds:

  1. Cakes By Jack is not liable for any damage caused to the cake or products after delivery and set up.

  2. Refunds will only be given for damage caused by Cakes By Jack.

  3. Cakes By Jack is not liable for any allergic reactions caused by the ingredients in our cakes. All cakes may contain common allergens such as gluten, nuts, egg and dairy.

Cake Design

  1. Orders that have paid a 50% deposit are confirmed cakes and designs. Any alterations to the design may not be accepted. Accepted alterations may incur a price change depending on the changes to the cake design.

  2. All designs are unique and may not match exactly with inspiration photos or previous designs.

  3. Online cake orders are pre-designed and not subject to changes other than the offered variations.

  4. Cakes by Jack is not an allergen-friendly kitchen. All products are processed in a kitchen with gluten, eggs and dairy.
